Alla Mitrofanova: hi from Alla Mitrofanova (Translation from Russian)

very nice to meet all my favorite irinas and new aquaintances. it is very nice and exotic to talk about cyberfeminism in the net in russian. one problem, it turns out to be very academic and long.
concentration is hard to find for something, better to introduce oneself.
cyberfeminism is a pretty old game from the beginning of the 90s, our club from 1994. it's a game in a new space, where at that time there were neither powerful relationships nor role sterotypes. yes, and no artist or theorist apart from us had a computer. partly we fulfilled a powerful maternal function to teach everything to everybody, teaching not only about technology but resignifying gender roles.
that's how our snobism towards gender dominations and gender politics could probably be explained.
right now i am hardly dealing at all with the net, i have a new interest in neuro-physiology, which of course is connencted with neuro-interfaces, but i cannot show anything yet, neither in art nor in medicine, although for some years i have spent energy and time on this topic. neuro-theory of the body is a concept which is in principle homogenous to computer logic (and not only to neuro-programming). therefore everything is moving towards straight neuro-interfaces and chips in the body. here are also gender interests, but not strong yet. neuro-theory sees the body as multi-systemic, processual, how you work in a given moment is what you are.
as i have been fragmented for a long time and see in this profit for myself only, i sincerely hardly understand feminism emerging from a totalizing notion of subjectivity and a structural notion of the social. i am strongly missing women's voices in culture, from this position of lack we are trying to speak... therefore cybermotherism...

so long to everybody
